Frequently Asked Questions

What time are classes at?

Classes are Tuesdays and Fridays at 8am PST (Vancouver/Los Angeles). Below are a list of popular time zones and what time class is at in there:

  • Mountain Time (Edmonton/Mexico City): 9 - 10am
  • Central Time (Winnipeg/Houston): 10 - 11am
  • Eastern Time (Toronto/New York): 11am - Noon
  • GMT +1 (London/Dublin): 4 - 5pm
  • GMT +2 (Paris/Rome): 5 - 6pm
  • GMT +3 (Athens/Helsinki): 6 - 7pm
What do I need to start?

For the material being taught, most students prefer nylon string guitars, but any guitar will work great. It’s strongly recommended that you have some sort of guitar support (such as a foot stool), and a tuner that you’re familiar with for the classes.

What if I have questions?

Post them in the Q&A thread! If you have a question, there’s a good chance someone else has the same question, and that way you can get help, and help them out at the same time!

Do I need to know how to play guitar before taking this class?

The material in the live classes jumps in after the basics. If you’re brand new to guitar, be sure to watch the Beginner Guitar Crash Course in the class room prior to the live calls. It will take about 60 minutes to complete.

What happens if I cancel after 3 months?

You can cancel your membership at any time. At the end of the paid period you’ll lose access to the replays, the on demand courses, and the Q&A thread in the community

What if I miss a lesson?

No problem! Replays of the live class will be available about an hour after the live class time, and you can watch the material at your own pace, and ask questions in the Q&A thread along the way.

How long will I have access to replays?

You will have access to the replays for as long as you stay signed up for Good Morning Guitar.

How long are rates Guaranteed for?

Founding members get to lock in their rate at $47/month for 4 renewals, or as long as they stay continuously signed up. (That's a 12 month guarantee for quarterly, and a 4 year guarantee for annual)
